What is EMS Training?

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS)
EMS is the elicitation of muscle contraction using electric impulses, which is scientifically backed, is similar to the body’s natural stimulus transductions. But it allows for increase muscle stimulation, but in a non-regular order, enabling a more intense level of training, which assist in gaining muscle mass, shedding fat, increased calorie burning capacity and boosting metabolism.

How does it work?

Electrical impulses are generated by a device and delivered through electrodes placed on the skin surface, above the muscles to be stimulated. It helps to develop better motor nerve connection, relating to muscle movement, ensuring that even weak muscles are activated.
The impulses cause the muscles to contract. The result is similar to the actual movement and regular contractions of the muscles. Thus, a more intense training level of training is achieved.

What if I have an injury? Can I still use EMS? 

EMS can be used for those recovering from injury, wanting to strengthen muscles and regain fitness with zero impact.
EMS is a fantastic option. It is low impact, puts minimal strain on joints, but still focus on strengthening injured areas and muscles around the injury. Plus, EMS workouts require very gentle exercises, so training can still take place with an injury. This includes back problems.
